To reach the next level your sim must reach Painting level five and create one excellent painting. You must also Admire three different works of art, which you can do by buying and viewing said art or looking at it in a museum (or someone else’s home, your choice). To escape the entry tier of Painter your sim must reach level two of the Painting skill, which you can do by Painting on easels or reading books. You’ll need two Painter sims to see everything.
